CITB/ConstructionSkills courses are designed for those in the building, civil engineering and other related industries to develop their skills in construction site health and safety. The aim is to give people working in the construction industry the skills and knowledge that are necessary in order to survive and prosper in today's challenging economic environment, resulting in a safe, professional and fully-qualified UK construction industry.
We currently offer the 5-day Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) and the 2-day Site Supervisors' Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) courses, with both courses being regularly revised to ensure that the content is relevant to new health and safety legislation and best practice guidelines. Keeping up to date with the latest health and safety developments is essential to create a safer and more efficient working environment on the construction site. For those who have already done the 5-day SMSTS course within the last 5 years but wish to update their knowledge of current best practices and the latest health and safety legislation relevant to the construction industry, we also run the 2-day SMSTS Refresher course.
